Chris Gordon
President, CHUM Radio
As President, CHUM Radio, Chris Gordon is responsible for all aspects of the company’s radio business including day-to-day operations, strategic planning and radio sales.
Prior to accepting the role of President in April 2008, Gordon was with CHUM Radio for 10 years, most recently as Vice-President and General Manager, CFRA, TEAM 1200, Majic 100, Bob 93.9 FM and the television station A-Channel Ottawa (now /A\). He is an experienced broadcaster with an extensive track record of success. He has created and maintained strong brands while achieving unprecedented ratings, revenue and EBITDA growth, and is a strategic thinker having experience with various stakeholders including the CRTC, the music industry, advertisers, and community leaders.
Before joining the company, Gordon was with Blackburn Broadcasting in London, Ontario, and prior to that he held senior radio management positions in Alberta and Ontario.
Gordon holds a diploma in Radio and Television Arts from Algonquin College.
